Concepts for game play, assets and feature film environments.

 My general approach for each painting was to do some rough sketches for composition and inspiration. I would then bring in several Photo references to give the painting the realism and textures while also painting in missing details on the fly. It’s kind of a cross between speed painting and matte painting.

      Usually the design is started with photo reference and then I build on it with brush tools in Photoshop.
